I really wish we weren't making this purchase our last residence. Rick was such a joy to work with from the the very first showing right through settlement. I would highly recommend him for his diligence, work ethic and honesty. Rick was very upfront about everything and didn't mind answering any questions we had. We joked that we may have to call him up to show us some houses just to enjoy his company again. If you don't use Rick, you'll be missing out on a superior agent and home buying/selling experience

Rick was very knowledgeable and worked very hard for me to find my first home. He never pushed me into anything but made sure he provided me with all the facts that were necessary to make an informed purchase. He's also a great guy and very enjoyable to work with. As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I were certain that we needed a buyer's agent to provide real estate services. Our initial discussion with Rick Shaffer from Prudential assured me that we had made the right decision. With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Rick quickly assuaged our fears as novices in the marketplace by spending over two hours (!) in an initial consultation walking us through what to expect - - from financing to home selection. Throughout the process, he gave us expert advice on everything from current market conditions to key "warning signs" to look for when viewing homes. This is nothing to say of the amount of patience he had with us as we viewed home listing after home listing - - changed our minds with what we thought were looking for and then changed them again! Sufficed it to say, it took some time to find "our" home because we wanted somewhere we could envision raising our future family, but Rick was always there for us. When it came down to finally finding and acting quickly on our house to be, he was again readily available and willing with his expertise and superior customer service. Rick's support right up until the last moment, including assisting us in dealing with unprepared sellers, made the ultimate difference in finally being able to call ourselves "homeowners". Rick Shaffer and his team were invaluable assets in our first home-buying endeavor and whether buying or selling in the future, we won't use anyone else!

From the moment we met Rick we felt that we could trust his knowledge, honesty and experience. He helped us all the way to find the PERFECT house and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The house is exactly what we wanted, from the get go he understood what we were looking for and choose the right houses for us to view and was very straight forward with his advise and opinions. Buying a home? this is the man for the job, I called him angel of God sent from heaven. Me and my wife were looking for a home first time buyers in PA and this man Mr Rick Shaffer if I write all my experience we had with him I would need about 10 pages, number one tremendous patience, soft speaking and the guidance he has I cant begin too tell you how awesome he will carry you and guide you from start too finish wright there with you just like foots on the sand. Short and sweet if no one can he can thank you soooooo much Rick in my life forever gave my family emotions that I can't explain crying, smiley, and very happy at the same time. We are so grateful and happy to have met you and very thankful for helping us on this big journey that with out you it would have never happened. If you reading this trust me guys out there give him the chance and you will be just like me happy and very well satisfied perfect 10, and 5 star rating from me. But make sure you come clean and truthful with all your information so he could pull you thorough....
